Barcelona eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Daichi Kamada

Daichi Kamada’s current contract with Frankfurt is set to run out at the end of this campaign.

A fresh report from a German news outlet, Frankfurter Rundschau reported that Barcelona are eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Daichi Kamada. It has been added that the Catalan giants are hoping to recruit the Japanese international next year.

Kamada is having a decent campaign in German football as he has put in a run of impressive performances for Frankfurt in the final third. The Japanese sensation has found the back of the net on 12 occasions and provided four assists in 22 appearances for the German club this season across all competitions.

His current contract with Frankfurt is set to run out at the end of this campaign. Hence, it makes sense for Barcelona to orchestrate a cut-price move for him this January or sign him for free next summer.

We can expect Kamada to add more goals and creativity to Xavi‘s frontline at the Nou Camp. He could even increase competition for places within Barca‘s match-day squad.
