Barcelona are a club known for developing young talents.Â
Throughout the last few decades, they have churned out quite a few gems who have made the footballing world a better place. Their success reached an all-time high towards the end of last decade under Pep Guardiola when 7-8 of their La Masia products went on the conquer the world with club and country.Â
And of those talented footballers, one was destined to be the best – Lionel Messi. Messi ruled football for the next decade and now with his power declining, the Barcelona team seems to have been blessed with a new star – a possible replacement for Leo.Â
We are talking about break away star Ansu Fati. The 17-year old broke into the first team this season and has had a wonderful year in the senior squad. He is a striker and looks like a lethal finisher already with great speed and technique to his game.
The Catalan giants are keen to store away their potential diamond and have reportedly offered Fati a bumper new deal.Â
Fati signed a new contract in December with his release clause set at £144m and now with United interested in the player, Barcelona want to better it and offer a better contract that will also see the release clause increase to £274m!
