Lionel Messi looks highly unsettled at PSG in his debut season.

The Argentine superstar penned a two-year deal with PSG last summer and has scored only two goals in Ligue 1 and five in the Champions League since his arrival.

Dani Alves returned to Camp Nou for his second spell to help manager Xavi revitalise the Barcelona squad.

Following their exit in the Champions League, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was booed off in their next game against Bordeaux.

Dani Alves who is now a regular under Xavi’s management claims Messi is not enjoying his time at PSG and asked him to rejoin Barcelona in the summer.

“Messi is not enjoying himself,” Alves told ESPN in an interview. “For me, he’s out of place. Right now, Leo is out of place there. Leo always said to me: ‘Where could I be happier than here?’

“I’m proof of that. There’s nowhere better than here. For whatever reason, Leo isn’t here today but I hope he can come back.”
