Philippe Coutinho is currently enjoying his spell at Aston Villa.

The 29-year old midfielder has struggled at Camp Nou since his arrival back in 2018 scoring just 26 goals in 106 matches.

During his playing days with Liverpool, he scored 54 goals and made 43 assists in 201 appearances in all competitions.

In the January window, he was sent out on loan to Premier League Aston Villa for the remainder of the season.

He reunited with his former teammate at Liverpool and current Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard.

The Brazil international went on explaining how he never regretted joining Barcelona.

Coutinho told ESPN: ‘At certain times we have to make decisions and one of my big dreams was to play for Barcelona.

‘At that moment I decided to make that decision, but always with great affection, respect and gratitude for Liverpool and for the friendships over the years I’ve been in the club.

‘But at that moment I had a decision to make and I don’t regret it.’
