Sofyan Amrabat has become one of Barcelona’s top choices as they search this summer for a long-term successor for Sergio Busquets
The team has been considering a move for the Fiorentina star for some time, and they were particularly keen in the player’s availability in January. In front of the new season, they are eager to use his services once more.
La Nazione claims that Fiorentina is applying pressure to Barcelona by becoming receptive to bids from other European teams, as reported by Diario SPORT. According to the article, the midfielder has drawn interest from Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and Atletico Madrid in recent weeks.
The highest-offering party is welcome to negotiate with Fiorentina. They are also adamant about their €30 million valuation of the player, which seems like a lofty goal given that the player’s contract with the club ends at the conclusion of the following season.
If there is a loan option offered as part of the sale, Fiorentina are willing to reduce the price. However, given the increased competition for Amrabat’s talents, Barcelona may find the task more challenging. In addition, the team is still working through the Financial Fair Play rules. As a result, the Blaugrana are prevented from signing any players until the undesired stars in the team have been removed and the squad’s collective wage has been reduced.
